Overview
NumeriXGPT LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates AgrStak — an AI-powered agricultural decision support platform that transforms USDA research into calculator tools for farmers, researchers, and agricultural professionals. This Privacy Policy applies to all AgrStak products and services, including our calculator storefronts hosted at numerixgpt.com and related domains, and the AgrStak Chat Widget (ACW).
This policy replaces our prior Privacy Policy dated December 2024. It has been updated to reflect the full scope of the AgrStak platform, including calculator functionality, AI-powered chat assistance, and institutional data partnerships.
We do not sell your data. Calculator inputs are never stored — they exist only during your session. We collect only what we need to run the platform and improve it for farmers and researchers.
1. What We Collect
We collect the following categories of information depending on how you use AgrStak:
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Email address — when you join our waitlist, subscribe to updates, or create an account
- Name — if you create an account or contact us
- Professional context — your role (farmer, researcher, extension agent) if you voluntarily provide it
- Support communications — messages you send to our support or contact channels
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, calculators used, features accessed, and time spent
- Device and browser information — browser type, operating system, screen size
- IP address — used for analytics and security; not linked to your identity
- Referral source — how you arrived at AgrStak (e.g., search engine, direct link)
1.3 What We Do NOT Collect
- Calculator input values — soil measurements, crop parameters, field data — are never stored on our servers. They exist only in your browser session.
- Farm location data or GPS coordinates
- Financial or banking information
- Government-issued identification numbers
2. Calculator & Research Model Data
AgrStak's 431 calculator models are built on USDA agricultural research. Understanding how calculator data is handled is important for our users.
- Your inputs are ephemeral. All values you enter into any AgrStak calculator are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored on AgrStak servers.
- Results are not stored. Calculation outputs displayed on screen are not retained by AgrStak unless you choose to export or download them yourself.
- Model metadata is maintained internally. AgrStak maintains a model registry (model ID, source citation, version, validation date) for governance and IP purposes. This contains no user data.
- Aggregate usage is tracked. We track which calculators are used, how often, and for how long — anonymously, via Google Analytics — to improve the platform.
Because calculator inputs are never stored, AgrStak cannot retrieve or provide copies of calculations you have previously run. If you need to retain your results, use the export or print function available on each calculator page.
3. AI & Chat Widget Data (ACW)
AgrStak's Chat Widget (ACW) is powered by the Anthropic Claude API. When you use the chat assistant on any calculator page, the following applies:
- Messages you send to the ACW are transmitted to the Anthropic API to generate responses. Anthropic's data practices are governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Do not include personal information — names, addresses, financial data, or other sensitive details — in chat messages. Chat is designed for agricultural questions only.
- Anthropic API data agreements prohibit use of transmitted prompts for model training. Your chat messages are not used to train AI models.
- Chat sessions are not stored by AgrStak on our servers. Conversation history exists only within your active browser session.
- No institutional partner data is ever transmitted through the chat widget without explicit consent.
AgrStak's AI-assisted outputs are decision support tools. They are based on USDA research models and should be validated with a qualified agronomist or extension agent before making agricultural decisions.
4. Analytics & Cookies
4.1 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how AgrStak is used. GA4 collects anonymized data including pages visited, calculator interactions, session duration, and device information. No personally identifiable information is transmitted to Google Analytics.
To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4.2 Cookies
AgrStak uses the following types of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the platform to function (e.g., session management). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — GA4 cookies that collect anonymous usage data. You may opt out via browser settings or the GA4 opt-out add-on.
- Preference cookies — remember your calculator settings and preferences within a session.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. AgrStak products are ad-free.
5. Institutional Partner Data
AgrStak partners with USDA research institutions, land-grant universities, and extension services through formal Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs). If you are an institutional partner, the following applies:
- Data shared under a DSA is governed by the terms of that specific agreement, which supplements this Privacy Policy.
- Institutional Shared Data is classified as Confidential and subject to the highest protection standards in our Data Governance Framework.
- Non-public research data from institutional partners is never transmitted to third-party AI APIs without explicit written consent.
- Institutional partner data is never used to train AI models.
- Data is retained only for the duration specified in the applicable DSA.
To review AgrStak's institutional data practices in full, see our Data Governance Framework or Data Sharing Agreement template.
